Happy New Year.. Happy New Year.. Happy New Year!!

A chinese festival has with all the profound greetings and wishes has come to simple 3 English Words.. "HappY New Year!"

On the second day of new year was just relax.. Had dim sum lunch with J's family and later when to my uncle's hse =) My cousin who stays at punggol was there and we agreed to have dinner tog when her husb and J are both on shifts.. well, hope they are on the same shift lah! keke..

When J's hse to 'Pai Nian' in the evening.. keke.. ang bao!! Then they set off to watch Fearless while we went to watch Memoir of the Geisha.. Nice nice show!! I din feel tired at all or lose interest.. I was simply glued to the screen.. Interesting show!

J's parents invited their friends and relatives for buffet lunch cum dinner.. Got help a bit lah.. but the best part is.. I got ang bao!! hahahhaha... well, not paiseh hor.. but it's my last year.. =p I received 26 ang bao this year.. showed mummy the stack of ang baos.. but she jus warn me that next year i will be expected to give =((

HappY NeW Year!! Wooh wooH!! Everyone 'Wang Wang' ("p)/

It's first day of new year.. gd wishes for the Doggie year =)

Last nite's reunion dinner was so sumptuous.. keke.. no steamboat but the Potluck party we have at my grandpa hse was really gd.. mummy prepared lemon chicken, fishball and her specialty 'gu lo yok' (meat).. I tried cooking it that time for J.. My cooking skill not as gd as mummy lah! =p

This is the 2nd time I join J and his relatives for reunion dinner at the restaurant.. had a gd dinner althought i was really full at the end.. Keke.. made J finish my food =p His uncle even joke that he must eat more.. prepare to get 'qu lao po'! keke.. we jus laugh.. hehe..

Yesterday morning, I joined my parents to the temple to pay respect to my late granny.. I recalled how close we were until time when my family moved out and I visited her after work.. then slowly becos of tight schedule, I din go visit her too often.. I miss her eventhough she had left us almost 5 years..

Last nite after dinner, J is very concerned about the plants at our new hse.. we drove down ard 11pm and found the plants dry!! We were shock!!

So immediately we decided to send them back to J's hse.. he kept asking me if they are dead.. but I insisted that they are jus 'dehydrated'.. hope they will be well soon.. Hope J's mum wun get angry that we made her plants 'dry' and had to send them back to her.. keke..

Today went 'Pai Nian' to our relatives.. this year is esp interesting with the young nephews and niece.. they are so adorable!! The old folks are also very funny.. Not much ang bao but we had a great time.. seldom that my family (papa, mummy, kelvin and I) had such gd time talking and we had dinner at the 'frog leg porridge' stall.. yummy..

Dog year is coming... yeah =) doggies are my favourite pet... reminds me of our conversation in office when I made everyone laugh again...

The Fengshui master say the Hse is 'Dragon' so by right should not move in in the Dog year.. then I ask bel.. so can I have dog as pet?? Hmm, think I have to ask the master.. that time oni told him I might have Fishes... the rest laugh at me.. as usual.. =p hahahha... but glad a let the rest laugh to de-stress a bit.. hehe..

I discover that J is as funny as me leh.. jus last wkend, he made me laugh so much..

SOmething to share...
CNY is round the corner..
J: We come and do spring cleaning at our new home ok, CNY coming..
Me: (Shock and amazed): Huh? clean what? but the workers jus helped us swept the floor!
J: Oh ya hor.. cannot do anything else also.. can't wash floor like this..
Me: (heng arh! no backaches before CNY pls... hahaha)

Still at our hse on sat...
J: Next sat, we have to come down leh..
Me: (scratch head =p) why??
J: Hehe.. to water the plants..
Me: OMG! I think you better bring them home.. then u can water them everyday..
Best gardener of the yr.....J!!

Off shopping for CNY clothes...
J: I very easy one.. can find everything in a day...
Me: (Ya ya.. and I have to your consultant lor.. hehe) hmm, let's see hor..
J: U2.. go in...
swop! 1 shirt, 1 polo T
Me: Hey! Lawman.. go in...
whoop! 1 long sleeve tshirt
J: Levi's.. go see..
done!! 1 pants..
Done in 2 days.. hahahah...
Me: Think you can sign contract with U2.. hahahah

At my hse...
Me: (saw his socks on the floor.. )
J: (looking at his feet) Eh, how come only 1 sock arh..
Me: (can't control but laugh and laugh and laugh..... hahahahah... looking at his feet.. one with sock and another without.. )
Huh?! hahahahha... u now then realised you only took off 1 sock? hahahah.... i thot u had them off??
J: keke...
But throughout the evening.. he jus had only 1 on..
Then as usual.. i snapped the scene!! it's on my hp now.. can't control but laugh when i see it this morning on the train..
keke.. it shall be something that makes me laugh =)

Yesterdays' concert was terrific!!
Cheorography was fantastic.. =) love 'First Day'! J and me had a great time at the concert.. =) Although one of the 'Ying Guang Bang' failed.. we are still very in the mood.. very "high"! kekee...

At the end of the concert...
Lyn:" Hee~ I scream till a little sore throat now.."
J:" Never go to army... never shout before.."
Lyn:" Chey~! I dun have to go army to learn to shout.. jus go concerts lah!"

Today is another sunny day =) J and I went to the beach.. yeah!! sun tan.. think he really into getting tan leh.. cos J said it's very long since we went sunbathing.. =p
But from the sun burnt experience.. he make sure he apply sunblock and suntanning lotion.. also din stay under the sun too long.. =p tired after the session... sun was blazing but still windy =) had a nice afternn at the beach before going down to parkway to get things for the hse =) Had icy ice kachang and grass jelly! cold cold!!

Time jus flies so quickly.. jus had yummy dinner at home.. always make it a point to have dinner on sunday at home.. enjoy dinner with mummy and pa =)

Hmm, new year is jus round the corner.. must do something to my hair.. but what leh?! keke.. dunno.. maybe a little change bah.. this wkend maybe =)

Have been visiting the brides forum lately to source and post comments.. happy that pple are all preparing for their big day.. may it ROM or AD (actual day).. having response and all.. happy happy ("p)/

Friday the 13th!! but yesterday was quite a fulfilling day for J and me =)

The feng shui master came to our hse this morning and we went down later in the afternoon to get an analysis and the plan.. knowledgong session and we are happy to hear to based on our 'ba zi' the coming year is a gd year for marriage and shifting =) Next on the hse would be sourcing for a contractor or interior designer to build our home.. it's gonna be a lot of work but guess it would be fun!!

After visiting the hse, we went to punggol plaza for breakfast and some shopping for the hse.. same as a fren, the first few items we bought for the hse are the mop and brooms and pail! Today we got stoppers, lock and a water spray for my gardener, J!
Too bad the master says our hse shld not have too many greeneries.. so my gardener lose his job before he start work.. kekeke... He gotta bring the plants back to his hse.. =(

Also finalised on our wedding venue for ROM together with banquet.. crossed my fingers that I got the venue that we want and we are very comfortable with the wedding planner and the venue looks cool and posh.. classy i shld say.. Had lunch with the wedding planner and coordinator at the restaurant.. J and I love the wasabi prawns which is in the most expensive menu.. hmm, will work it out cos both of us believe in giving our guests tasty food =) oh, believe in my taste pls..! it's really nice =p

The third thing we settled was to place order on the new car =) we chose a colour that we trust will be nice and classy when it's not even available in Singapore.. so gotta wait patiently for the shipment to come in march 06.. hopefully we can get it earlier.. keke.. I think i will miss the van leh.. always thought if the van can be our bridal van then it will be cosy and unique.. but then this is not approved by J as this would mean he gotta drive.. hahahha.... oh ya, rem to put this in my list!

Well, been an eventful day and tiring day for both of us.. Yeah!! this evening will be Stephanie Sun's concert =) Must rememeber to bring my 'Ying Guang Bang' =p

Been quite a loooooong while since i update my Lyn's journal...

so much updates over the mths but just keep things short..

where did we stop... oh ya.. think i shld start with xmas 05

The long wkend starts with the girl's nite-out at clarke quay.. we had such great time! Had dinner at the Riverside Indonesia Restaurant.. I recommend for a nice dinner for a big group or family =) cheap cheap also.. keke...

Planned to go MOS but then as usual, it's the hottest place in town.. so many pple.. so we decided on 'One Nite Stand' =) nice place, nice music, nice drinks =)
Haven't been clubbing since that time with Joy.. Yeah, she's back! so glad to see her again.. although both of us din want it to be at that situation.. but still, just happy to see her again! ("p)/

After the nite out on x'mas eve's eve... it's all the time entertaining fren's and relatives' gathering, birthday and hsewarming sessions =p but enjoy them all!

In the midst of all these events... the next biggest thing in my life... J proposed to me! Yep, and it's twice =p well, to me it's special.. and frens told me that not every ger gets a proposal from the same guy on xmas eve and xmas day... and my dear colleague even said he's romantic.. which i thank her again for speaking up for him... =p

We got our keys on 28th Dec 05 and saw it's interior for the first time on 31 Dec 05!! Our parents and us love the sceneries... went up few times and now our only excuse to go up is to water the plants that J's mum bought.. keke.. nothing much until we meet up with the fengshui master this friday =)
The hse is big.. achy all over when i sweep the whole hse.. walking in and out is tiring oredi.. hahahhah... J will complain that I wanted a big hse.. well.. We are both happy with our 'big' hse =) keke....

On New yr's day, we got our wedding bands from goldheart.. the salelady is very nice.. she told us no need to spend too much on platinum rings and told us to choose what we like will do.. In the end, we got a pair that I love a lot!! Just collected them last friday and really like it beri beri much! It's a simple white gold band that I bought for J and he got me the matching band with 2 diamond studs.. Can't wait to get the pillows to hold them =)

A lot of sourcing and planning.. ding dong here and there.. change in decisions now and then.. eventually, we decided to hold ROM with customary on the same date.. When the venue is confirmed, we can be less stressed.. hehe.. keep our fingers crossed that we can get what we want.. Jus amazing how pple can book their wedding banquets a year before.. Declaration: 7 Oct is the hottest wedding date this year!

Had quite a laugh when J's mum told us that 1 Oct is a gd date.. yep! it's my favourite day and it would be wonderful to hold our wedding then.. but who knows.. it's actually a boogie master and it not really gd for weddings.. hahhaha.... so we are looking at other dates and few venues now!

so much of planning to do.. learn many things along the way.. also learn to take things easy... 'bu yao tai zhi zhuo'! 'Kai Xin Yi Dian'!
