Holiday seasons ...

Xmas and then new year.. and even before tat, we had a day off from hari raya.. so... who's not in a holiday mood?

No more envelope day at the last few days of the year.. but still.. the holiday mood is enuf to flood everyone's heart with joy and happiness =)

This year's xmas was jus the 2 of us.. simple but nice.. no xmas party at our hse this yr cos everyone's busy and we decided to have an angels' high tea session next sat.. 'dump' the guys for the afternn.. hahhahaha....

J and I went shopping for the steamboat dinner on sat and this big garfield really can eat manz... the first steamboat with him alone, i think we gobbled 4 pax serving..! That's remarkable =P

At office, think I'm the only one among my colleagues who went round sharing what I prepared for them.. glad they like it and I am happiest of all =)

Made the ai xin cookies for them =) bought the same 'disco paper' this year =D

This time round, here's the amt of food we prepared and there's some more in the fridge.. luckily we din finish all up!

Got hubby a Man U jersey.. hehe, the last min gift and really.. inspired by the match that we watched on Sunday ie the nite before.. and i frantically called almost all the nike shops for the jersey but it's out of stock.. finally, got it at amk hub.. fren ask why so last min.. hehe.. cos that's me =D J got me a new toy.. a DS lite and choya and coincidently, it's red too =)

More surprises!

Frens and family also gave us nice surprises...

Rec'd some cards frm frens whom we nvr expect to hear from... it's really heartwarming =P

Some frens have new family member to celebrate xmas this year and I'm so happy for them =)

It's a short work week this wk.. esp so when J can claim so time off.. we had pasta and pizza jus now.. and fighting 'fire' on the ice-cream corn at clarke quay.. tried the so diappointing creative carrot cake' that we saw on tv yest.. and got a dress =)

Oh ya, hokkaido ice cream won't melt at hokkaido but it melt like crazy in S'pore!

Realised that all pic I take of me and J has lights behind us?! hahhahha...

Looking forward to see J's fren and the gf this wkend.. then mon nite party at my hse with my parents but without J.. haha.. told him I wun save any popiah or pizza for him =P tues new year.. then meet the angels on sat.. then hopefully can met Joy and the ladies.. then wedding dinner.. and soon.. Jay's concert! then an angel's rom soon... waah... so much happy occasions coming up =P

These days... It's so difficult to catch the sun =P

This morning... packed my barang barang and all ready to go swimming... then the sun was so scotching hot! so went to do some shopping for the ingredients to make corn paste dessert..

When J came to pick me from my mum place.. still so hot... so waited for him to finish the "cha gui".. carrot cake.. the very yummy one frm the market.. his fav sunday breakfast when we haven't moved..

On the way back.. there were drops of rain... we pray that i dun start pouring..

So reach home at 1pm.. make tang yuan.. and finally set off at yck for swim... my freestyle is slightly better... but still cannot make it bah.. haha... sky was cloudy... then dark.... and luckily, it only pour very heavily after we make the first turn our of the swimming complex...

Sunny days are rare =D

Xmas is jus round the corner!

Year 2007 is coming to an end soon... and many new challenges are approaching..

This year has been especially happening at work and more was achieved back at home and with frens..

Projects have been my main jobscope for the last 3-4 years.. I'm not tired of it at all.. strangely har =P although I keep hearing pple complaining abt doing projects and wish to get out of it soon.. things like that... Truely, I owe it to the happy teammates who support me even though we have never been in the same branch, same level or the same form type.. hahahha.... Yes, and it's some sort of positive chemistry that I'm able to whip out a fantastic drive toward difficult times.. haha.. dun wanna make it sound like star award ceremony!

Now that many things are more or less confirmed.. I don't regret what I did.. eventhough some differences were surfaced.. I always believe that we have a choice to what we wanna do.. even if we have to do.. we shall fight till the end.. and it's the bosses to make the final call cos that's their job! so no regrets till now.. and even when our team was first formed.. I had my say that I still enjoy doing project..

Many may say in stat board.. everyone jus follow 'law'.. things like that.. and perhaps i'm thankful that i say have the drive.. at least when i'm still currently under my big big big boss.. hahahha... james lah..! And it not easy next time.. I jus recovered from my nightmare =PP

So for work.. next yr will be a brand new and challenging one! Kambatte lor!

I have also learnt this year.. achieved 2 of my new year resolution.. small but they are personal and great to me! and yes, it's time to think of what I wanna achieve next year.. I still have 2 wks' time ya.. hahhaha....

Frens are ever impt.. so is family... so appreciate them with a BIG heart! =)

Gosh... i haven't decided what to get for J this xmas... I'm now a practical lyn.. really wanna get him something that he really want.. so i broke all the surprises to him by asking him if he like this and that.. from hp to watch to writing a cheque for him.. to buying him the red watering can that I see on the magazine! hahaha.... the lao wu 'gardener' still haven't have a proper watering can.. hehe.. but then, his plants downsized lei.. hahhaha....

oh ya.. the 2 plants at icu still look the same.. wish we have x-ray eyes to see if the roots are growing.. haha.... will take photo of them tmr.. =)

Juz as we were doing xmas shopping.. We got something for our hse..

Sudden urge to make our home more cosy n personalised.. It's our hse n it's up to us to dress it!
So excited tat joy's coming bk tis wkend! I hve so much to share.. Abt pple, work n surely some girly talk..

1 yr passed n our hse hasn't change much.. No, not dust.. I'm a diligent maria cum tai tai cum missy in e hse! Haha..

Saw a tv yest.. Hope we can get it tis wkend!

Dark or Black??

Do you see the sign on the wrapper of this 99% cacao chocolate? 'Caution! very bitter!' Yes indeed... I frowned when I had my first bite.. and it didn't taste better after a few bites too ("p)

I love dark chocolates.. my level is still 75%.. will try 80% next time =)

Egg or chicken??

Whether egg come first or chicken come first? nope.. not this arguement =D

It's low cholestrol egg, Vitamin E egg and low fat egg comes from low cholestrol / Vitamin E rich / Low fat chicken??

Hahaha... this arose from another of our dinner chat with my in-laws..
Talking abt how pple choose to buy these eggs when in fact how did the eggs get categoried thru this ways..

The funniest thing i hear from J:"So they have a group of omega 3 chickens.. another group of low fat chickens.. so the eggs become high in omega 3 and low fat lah?!"

"And if I am low cholestrol and Lyn is low cholestrol... our children will be low cholestrol lah?!"

I have a gd laugh and surprised abt what he said.. in front of the folks.. cos that is something I wanna avoid talking abt..

anyway... that's a small episode of the egg story... jus to share =) have u thought abt this before?

Wonderful wkend ~*(,")(",)

Last friday.. mummy went shopping with me! After a long discussion with the consultant, I can't go swimming.. and ask mummy for company =P

We chatted, laughed, took photo and had yummy waffle ice-cream..
hehe, promised to show Joy my new hairstyle =P

Hi joy!

Watched enchanted on saturday with J.. hmm... so romantic.. true love's kiss.. =) that sillyhead laughed so hard throughout the show.. hahaha...

Sunday, he brought me mac for.. hehe.. Happy meal =P and we got the Barry Benson dancing bee =D

Then went swimming tog.. for the very first time! He taught me freestyle as I only had 2 lessons from my instructor months ago.. lots to correct.. and luckily we were still cool and din't get all frustrated =) and I learnt a few tips from him =P

Was jus a short session cos we gotta rush to visit his cousin at the hospital but it's enjoyable =)
Nope.. we din put up any mushy show.. jus had enuf time for him to correct my strokes.. and swimming side by side was wonderful.. jus that i kick him couple of times when I start off.. opps! waahahahah!

His cousin looks better now.. although we have doubts in his condition.. jus hope he will recover and enjoy his family like before.. really envy him having such a bright and beautiful boy and girl.. they are so adorable...!

Had dinner with my in laws at Sketches.. food was yummy and glad they like it there.. perhaps we can try Olive tree the next time.. although both me and J will not splurge on food in this way =P

haha.. within 10 mins.... i got a bag before we head home =P

Gonna play maplestory lor... hehe...
