Mummy got me another hello kitty drinking mug yest!

I've started using straw to drink water when i turned 8mtgs.. I love my red hello kitty mug! All e uncles n aunties dwnstairs were surprised to c me suck thru e straw at tis age.. Tis made mama aka granny very proud.

Today, i show her tat i knw how to sleep on pillow.. She chuckled.. Mummy corrected to say tat i knw tat long ago n i often laze on mummy n daddy bed with them on wkend morn n crawl to rest on their enormous pillow..

I'm a learning baby.. I'm ezanne!

Happy!

Ever since ezanne become part of e extended family, she's a special one who will bring smile on an upset face, joy to a bored face n laughter to a tired face.. No matter wat happen out there, it's juz 'hahaha...' back home nw..

Probably coz j is on normal shift tìs whole mth.. It makes taking care of our princess less challenging.. When i'm tired from rocking her to sleep, he will rock with me n help me pat ezanne while i still hve her on my chest.. It's so sweet.. Thanks dear..

We r basked with laughter all e time n i'm thankful to hve such welcoming n positive parents in law.. They surely contributed to our happy family!

Coz my mil went for tour tat day, she ditched cooking n we had dinner at a korean bbq restaurant.. There's tis chill out area behind e estate.. Like it there.. There's prawn fishing too..

J n i will bring ezanne to my parents hse on wkend n it seems like a long wait till another wkend tat my parents can play with her! My bro n future sil r as excited.. Ezanne's every new stunt n even her snores r so interesting! Haha..

Arh.. Not a slim chance tat we can plan for our switzerland trip coz of swine.. But we r gg spa n massage nxt wk! Looking fwd to it..! Tmr's friday! Yeah! Wkend here we come ü

SHopping with the princess

Took leave today cos my mil went for a 'one day tour'.. to where? Hmm, will ask her later.. hehe..

So decided to bring the princess to Orchard today! Planned to get her clips and teether..

We took bus to serangoon mrt then took train to orchard.. haha.. I got the maid to help me lah.. not able to juggle with the active ger and her barang.. on the way, a po po talk to ezanne the whole time and she commented that ezanne dun have much hair for the clip she is wearing =( sob sob... but i'm sure she will have pretty long hair soon.. hehe...

We got off at orchard and started browsing around.. with her in the carrier, i can't get any clothes myself.. there is a disney fair at a small corner of taka.. and we got her a donald duck polo tshirt.. oh that is nothing compared to the polo ralph tshirt her gu gu got her.. but still it's adorable! so we got that =)

And a gucci fanatic me can't resist going to gucci boutique.. a little weird to bring a baby with me.. but who cares! There is sales and I'm happy to get a new wallet! Haa... can't wait for J to go with me.. will jus tell him that I got a gd deal for him.. Hee..

After 2 hrs of walking.. I'm tired. so was ezanne.. she can't seem to fall asleep today in the carrier.. she had milk at the circle line station before we head back to 'ah ma' hse.. haha

So now my princess is resting... shhh.....

I'm little librarian =)

Last saturday evening brought ezanne to her first excursion to the library!

She wasn't too interested in the shelves and shelves of books but when we put her at the chair, she had fun!

'Hey I like that book!'

'See... I can read!'

'Not bad huh?.. Hee...'

So in the end we borrowed some books.. She loves listening to stories =)

Hey hey...

Xuam xuan learnt many things these few wks.. We r overwhelmed by e progress..

She now crawls very fast le.. Eyeing her target frm far n zoom zoom like daddy's car..

She aso learning to sit after crawling some distance.. N won't topple like humpty dumpty anymore..

E most exciting trick is standing up.. She will hold on to watever strong enuf for support n stand up tall.. We can't catch up with her eventhough e cot n lowered a few times.. J gonna do tat again tonite n it's e lowest..

It's dangerous bt it's part of her growing up..

She's very persistent.. She tried all corners of e cot.. Tried again n again to sit until we pull her dwn to rest..

She aso learnt to clap n wave goodbye.. Tried whistling but can oni blow out lots of saliver n say 'boo boo boo'..

E other thing she learn is call pple.. She will go 'heey hey hey' until rhe got ur attention.. Last nite after mummy n daddy's nite out, she start calling when we open e door.. It got faster n more insistent when we got in n call her name.. I throw my bag n went to carry her n she's delighted!

Tis morning, she woke up early.. We cuddle as i put on makeup.. She held me tight n din wanna let go.. Eyes got watery n red n started 'hey hey'.. we trif to cheer her up bt she juz look so 'se bu de'.. Tis is e first time she's like tat.. She noes mummy will disappear for a long while again..

Mummy miss u too..

Daddy's hair

Our little girl has e same hairstyle as daddy nw.. E spikes tat stood straight everytime..

Gave her baby biscuits n she enjnyed exploring new taste n texture..

Babies learn things very fast.. Juz a few tries, she realised tat e biscuit sizzles n softens in her mouth.. So when it get in her mouth, she will consciously pause a while then munch then swallow with a sip of water..

Tis is ezanne playing with her favourite toy back home on wkend..

Yest j told me something pull me back to appreciate wat is in front of me.. Innocence n simplicity it is..

Kids laugh most at their tiny tweeny age.. Their laughters r juz so true..

True.. Everytime ezanne laugh is to show her joy n excitement.. She lay on my shoulder to express hw she missed me.. Trying to focus where to kiss me to show she love me.. Smile when i give her a big hug n kiss on her little forehead.. Share giggles with me when we read tog.. All these r pure affection tat r so precious..

Princess story

J got this for our princess last week.. We took leave and spend the morning with Ezanne.. My mil help to look after her while we went out for some couple time.. And found this at a bookshop!

It comes with a book and the piggy puppets.. so cute rite?!

Just now J read ezanne the story and she listened attentively to him.. so sweet! =)

Our princess loves to listen to stories.. the tortoise and hare is hare is her favourite.. she also love the book tat sharon got her.. she seems to want me to read to her that book when we go back home.. =) 'I love you, I really do.. though my arms are just too small.. and I can't quite cuddle you'.. 'I hug you, you hug me...'... 'Let's be friends forever, I say!.. There for one another..'. 'Whatever you do.. and whatever I do.. Let's do it together!' ...

She remembers these phrases as I do.. and I will say to ezanne.. 'Ezanne, let's be friends forever ok?'.. hee... I really hope she can grow up to be friend with me =)

It's jus thrilling to see her everyday..

She's 8mths old today.. yeppie!

Wonderful weekends =)

2 weeks ago, we celebrated J's birthday as a 'family' for the first time.. =)

Mummy lyn and big bb ezanne surprised Daddy with his favourite mango cake early morning.. then while he continue to sleep, mummy brought ezanne down for her morning walk..

Later at nite, ezanne stayed with my parents while we went for movie and dinner.. wow it has been almost a year since we last watch a movie.. that's very long huh?! Yummy popcorn and Nite at the Museum 2 were definitely a gd combination =D Bought a top from Fox sales.. and later dinner at Modesto.. The food wasn't as nice as what we had the other time at elizabeth hotel.. oni like the mushroom soup that nite.. we had a gd evening.. though still thinking abt ezanne.. whether she's ok.. if she's asleep..

But our girl din enjoy herself at all.. after her nap.. my parents brought her down to the senior citizen party at the void deck.. she was ok until later at nite when she started to wonder where we went.. mummy later told me that she waited and waited for us to come back for her.. she waited patiently for signs of mummy whenever someone came down the stairs.. then she will make noise when it's not us.. =( and she finally fell asleep at 11pm out of exhaustion.. Gave her big big hug after that when i pick her up that nite..

This weekend we brought her out.. and this time we used the carrier.. she liked it when she can see things around her and be comfy with mummy.. =) I'm very happy that she's happy.. though it aches to carry her for hours..

Finally, the princess fell asleep in her carrier..

And we have lots of fun playing and looking at things throughout the outing.. she will squeal when i tickle her.. jump with her etc.. hehe..

Dinner time! Daddy is proud that ezanne is sitting comfortably on his lap while mummy got to enjoy her dinner.. Ezanne and daddy having fun and laughing me!

Looking forward to more outings.. when can ezanne go zoo with us? Hmm.. maybe she will start with botanic garden and the beach =)
