Has been too long.. I know =P
I'm not lost in maplestory... or addicted to it.. jus play almost 5 days a week and now start playing Warcraft that J signed up for me.. =D
On 29th Apr 07, we finally had our official housewarming party!
Maybe only me and J notice.. it's actually our 6mth wedding anniversary =) although many friends come with white and red wine and even choya! Trying to make us drunk?? hahahah.... jus kidding arh =P i hope to find a nice occasion to share these nice wine with friends..
We had a first unofficial round of housewarming just around xmas time with my group of angels and bf.. This time round, only pquek and her bf came.. so touched that she came eventhough she was quite ill then.. even tried my cheesecake =)
Xiaotiantian gave me tulip bouquet that she arranged specially for my house and it really brightened the hse =) yeah talking abt brightening the hse, me and J finally got our RED carpet for the cosy area and some black and white cushions for the loungy area.. mostly J's choice and I approve.. hmm.. think our taste quite similar afterall =) here's my living area! Other guests that I have to mentioned are bel and bf, karen and bf, my baking partner and bf, J's old old friends and finally our parents.. =D Thanks for coming and truly hope u all had a nice afternoon tea at my place =)
After reading bel's blog, I think this is really a "meet the 'people'" session.. hahaha... ee introduced her bf to colleagues who came and also her god parents.. bel show us her bf.. fsn officially introduce her husband (which really stunned me!) and lastly sk "showed off" D and her little one (he is so......... cute!) Some scenes some days before and on the day of housewarming....
Weeks before.... Scout for our red carpet and J fixed the wardrobe for the 'burn calories room'! 28th Jun J came home at 8am after his duty.. poor Lyn.. gotta clean the hse =P finally did all the things on the to-do list..! 10pm.. reached home and Lyn starts baking her first cheesecake and made custard cream... 12mn jus put her 2nd cheesecake in the oven.. 45 mins to get it ready!
29th Jun Lyn bake her cream puff and 3rd cheesecake (which forgot to grease the tin and din lay baking paper! so it's left in the fridge) CP came =) so nice of her to come and gotta rush for class =P Our high tea buffet is set up and our living room is quite big to still have space to walk after placing the tables.. hehe.. 3pm, everyone starts coming and the hse got more and more crowded..! pple talk, mingle, eat, catch up... the mothers sat one corner and chat.. the hse was heated up.. we totally forgot the dvd that we rented for the event!
At the end of the day, J's friends stayed on and we went for dinner at sengkang tog.. Enjoyed being with the grp of guys! was so tired but as long as J's happy =) I will get lost occasionally when they talk abt games.. and the strange this is one Jackie's gf actually played the same game and is even higher lvl then them all =D I told J i wanna try playing.. and that is how i got a account myself.. think this is the one thing that J will be so efficient =D I was catched by his efficiency =P
Our first KTV date was on 6th May =) the k-lunch was yummy and we sang heartily =) had the bestest wkend ever! we will go again =D woke up early jus for that and it's really much effort to wake up early on sundays.. hahahah...
Summaried the 2 mth's event in this blog is diffcult and test m memory =D Oh, had finished the book on talking to pple and J is reading it now.. ee lent me her book on why men dun listen and women cun read maps! it's so true on most things.. very long winded book also.. i must admit i really have problem reading a map when i play warcraft..! A tip from the book, man should not ask a woman to read the map.. it will trigger frustration if not handled properly! A tip from what i learnt from some friends..
gers, pls dun complain abt ur hubby or bf too much to ur friends.. if really so much to complain, talk to different friends.. becos.. as a partner, you will forget and maybe forgive becos you love him.. but as a friend, esp a ger friend, you are empathatic in nature and you cun forgive that easily and most pple live with perception.. they will register the 'moment' that you are most heated with ur hubby or bf..
