Though I can't go overseas.. J and I still took the chance for a short break over the weekend! We went 'oversea' =P haha.. nah.. just Sentosa! hahaha.... but still it's across the sentosa gateway overseas lah =) I'm contented oredi cos really din wanna risk anything too =)

Packed the bag that I used to bring to beachvolley at sentosa with bikini and sunglasses together with some other necessities.. Haha.. to think that I will be wearing them =P

So we reached Sentosa and straight to Siloso Beach Resort!

Soon after, we've reached the resort.. Carpark's really weird but was lucky to get a lot..

This is the deluxe room =) Simple but comfortable.. so nice to be in the air conditioned room as it was so hot out there!

Immediately, got J to unwrap his birthday present! no fun, he always guessed what I got him.. Chey, took so long to wrap the big sling bag that he can use for his school this july =p Then I'm also clever enuf to put a pack of chips in the bag.. so he's not totally right in his guess =P haha..

We headed out to Underwater world.. my only ambition for this trip =P

It is just so near the resort.. But before that, we had yummy mint choco Ben & Jerry's ice cream =)

Too late to catch the dolphin show? Fret not, we can still catch it the next day =) So as planned, we went to Underwater world..

So much to see and experience! J din let me touch the starfish or stingray.. but he definitely had lots of fun with them =D

Amazing creatures... my favourite would be this jellyfish.. they are so beautiful!

So many years since I came and the tunnel's just the same =p

Next, the luge and skyride definitely looks exciting! I know the luge will be a no no for me.. so I just aimed at the skyride.. but first, let us take a look at the notice..

Pass.. pass.. pass... but oops! no pregnant lady =P I failed the last test =S grrhhh...

So no ride for me =(

Decided to go for the Songs of the Sea so took the bus there.. oh gosh, it felt like we were at Bombay! There were so many Indian tourist that day and the way they board the bus was scary =S Finally, we got there but no more tix.. probably sold out long ago cos there were really lots of tourists that day.. it's ok, we managed to hear nemo and caught a few sparks and water display from far..

Had dinner by the beach before we head back to the resort..

Next morning's breakfast was yummy but we encountered a strange couple.. Apparently, this guy is a kiasu singaporean.. J was looking at them the whole time.. Waiting for them to finish all the food they have gotten.. I glanced back and wow! they have 6 cups of yogurt.. 6 lou mai kai.. 6 paus.. i dunno what else they got.. but definitely I table full of food =P After we were done, they are still there.. the waiter kindly inform us to get what we need since they would close the counters soon.. but he jus skip that part when he walked to that couple.. haha..

Before we check out, here's the waterfall and pool.. I din get the chance to swim as there's no time for that.. there's a slide within the pool for adult too =)

Not forgetting the dolphin lagoon =) caught the 1.30pm show..
Weather was humid and hot! So tempted to get a cold drink or ice cream before the show..

After a long wait, the show started! The pink dolphins were so adorable and clever!

Love the part when they wave to the audience.. i'm glad i get to see them =) See the trainer giving the que to wave? hahhaha

Definitely had a great wkend.. Sentosa needs lots of improvement.. Hope the next time we visit we will be welcomed by more friendly and enthusiatic hosts =)
